SALT Medical Apparel is a family-owned business and truly a family affair.

Our story began around the dinner table, when our two children would ask their mom, “Can you tell us about your patients from last night?” Alex, an emergency physician for more than a decade, spends countless overnight shifts caring for those who walk through hospital doors—then comes home to care for her family with the same dedication and compassion.

Through her experience, we realized how many healthcare workers live this same reality: giving everything to others at work, then doing it all again at home for the people they love. We wanted to honor those individuals.

Alongside her commitment to medicine, Alex has always had a passion for fashion. She envisioned a way to thoughtfully combine both worlds. But the medical community didn’t need just another scrub line — we needed a brand that reframed healthcare apparel by focusing on the those wearing the scrubs.

That vision became SALT Medical Apparel.

Our mission is simple: take care of the people who take care of people.
